The Sky Island Quartet will be performing the Respighi Piano Quintet with the Berlin-based pianist Mechka.
Mechka is a concert pianist, composer, teacher, and accompanist based in Berlin, Germany. Her performing career has spanned the globe, including orchestral and chamber music concerts, as well as solo performances. Expanding on her wide classical repertoire, Mechka explores elements of jazz, improvisation, and experimentation to create original compositions, and curate unique concept ensemble and multidisciplinary artistic events.
