DESCRIPTION:Join the Sky Island Quartet for a special evening of music and art at the Midvale Arts Council Art Show on Wednesday\, July 30\, 2025\, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Midvale Performing Arts Center. We’re thrilled to provide live background music throughout the event\, creating a vibrant\, welcoming atmosphere as you browse the artwork on display. \nOur program for the evening will feature a lively mix of familiar and beloved showtune covers—music that’s sure to bring a smile\, spark memories\, and add a sense of celebration to the evening. Expect favorites from Broadway classics and popular musicals\, all performed with the unique charm and warmth of a live string quartet. \nIn addition to the showtunes\, we’ll also offer a sneak peek into our upcoming 2025–2026 season. You’ll get to hear a few highlights from the repertoire we’re most excited to share in our formal concerts later in the year. It’s a chance to get a taste of what’s to come and experience our ensemble’s versatility—from upbeat stage melodies to the rich\, expressive music planned for the season ahead. \nWhether you’re a longtime supporter or a first-time listener\, we invite you to stop by\, say hello\, and enjoy some beautiful music while supporting local artists.
